Welcome to He Said She Said™. Our mission is to help individuals, couples and families navigate the transitions of life with hope, love and resilience. In a comfortable and caring atmosphere, we will assess each client's needs and develop a personalized approach to help attain the goals for which they are striving.
What Makes He Said She Said™ Unique for Couples?
E.J. Kerwin and Tarah Kerwin, a married couple themselves, co-facilitate couple's sessions. Together they encourage clients to deepen their understanding of how and why certain thoughts, feelings and behaviors can create challenges in the relationship. In addition, they assist couples in learning healthy communication techniques, stress management, mindfulness and intimacy skills. The unique experience of having two practitioners with specific skill sets creates an atmosphere where clients feel their relationship needs are being met. In addition, couples benefit from the diverse styles and personal insights of two facilitators who fully understand the joys and challenges of sustaining a healthy relationship. By establishing clear, honest and compassionate communication, E.J. and Tarah create a safe environment to strengthen or even re-build the foundation of their client’s relationship.
We offer individual therapy sessions in addition to our couples programs. These sessions are facilitated by one primary therapist who will help clients set achievable goals for the therapeutic process. Therapy allows an individual to cultivate awareness, clarify values and approach life with purpose; individuals can minimize emotional suffering and move closer to their potential.
Family sessions can be facilitated by one or two primary therapists. Family therapy offers families a way to develop and maintain a healthy functional home where members can identify needs and have them met within the system. Family members learn to communicate, problem solve and heal together to create a better home environment. Our favorite quote which highlights the goal of family therapy is as follows:
"To put the world right in order, we must first put the nation in order; to put the nation in order, we must first put the family in order; to put the family in order, we must first cultivate our personal life; we must first set our hearts right." - Confucius
"Thank you for taking the time to read our brief introduction. It is our life passion to help others enjoy healthy and thriving relationships."
- EJ & Tarah Kerwin
